It may be hard to tell at first glance, but this photograph, taken in May of this year (2016), features Ian and Emily, huddled at the base of what can only be called a towering wall of a local reservoir. Behold my family-oriented version of Carl Sagan's famous Pale Blue Dot! The backdrop is the Wachusett Dam in relatively nearby Clinton, MA. The reservoir was, at its completion in 1905, the largest public water supply in the world, and the dam the largest gravity dam in the world.

New visitors to the site are not allowed to see blog entries related to Emily and her medical situation until an account is set up and approved. This limits the content visible to those who are on the waiting list for approval. Following the Support Emily menu item in the menu banner leads to a page where expressions of support for Emily are welcomed with or without an account, but following the Blogs hyperlink without an approved account leads only to posts that are unrelated to Emily. Comments left by supporters on those posts aren't as readily accessible for her to see, so I am posting this note to remind users who want to leave a message for Emily to visit the Support Emily, and to remind new visitors to wait for new account registration to visit our blogs and learn more about our experiences during hospitalization.
