Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk, well chilled
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups heavy cream, well chilled
- 1 teaspoon mint extract (may use peppermint or spearmint)
- 4-5 drops green or pink food coloring

Directions for Use
- Pour the contents of the sachet into a mixing bowl.
- Add 50cl (2 cups) of milk and stir with a whisk.
- Add a tablespoon of oil or 25g (1 ounce) of melted butter and stir again.
- Pour a scoop of the mix into a lightly oiled, preheated skillet.
- When the first side is nicely golden, turn using a flick of the wrist, or if you must, a spatula.
- Let brown, then add your filling.

- 1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Mix wet and dry ingredients separately.
- Combine and mix.
- Cook at 350F

The following recipe for waffles is credited to Allrecipes.com, and is a favorite in the Brackett family, although our preparation dispenses with the salt and is a bit more liberal with the vanilla.
